Celtic Chisel pencil

£14.00

History You Can Write With

Love history, archaeology and wonderfully unusual stationery? This one’s for you!

Inspired by a Celtic Early–Mid Iron Age socketed chisel, this miniature chisel has been hand forged in a 200-year-old forge, then mounted onto a natural twig pencil to create a truly unique pencil topper.

A little piece of Iron Age-inspired craftsmanship for your desk, workshop or pencil case because stationery should be cool too!

Hand forged. Historically inspired. Completely unique.

These handcrafted wooden pencils are approximately 21cm (8 inches) long, each made from a single tree branch or stick and crafted on the Altyre Estate in Moray, Scotland.

Every rustic pencil is completely unique, with its own natural shape, texture and character — no two are ever quite the same. They make a lovely addition to your own desk or workspace and a wonderfully unusual gift for children, family, friends, colleagues and anyone who loves nature and handmade crafts.

With naturally smooth edges, these pencils are comfortable to hold for both children and adults, bringing a little touch of the Scottish woodland to your home, office or creative space.

Please note: These pencils require sharpening with a sharp knife to maintain their use. Children should always be supervised and assisted by an adult when sharpening.

The pencils are made from Silver Birch, sustainably sourced from local Scottish woodlands through Cross Country Products Ltd. Their eco-conscious approach focuses on minimising waste throughout the production process and reducing the carbon footprint of each purchase wherever possible.
